  In July 2005, he was arrested for“resisting officer with violence.” The neighborhood watch volunteer who wanted to be a cop got into a scuffle with cops who were questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking. The charges were reduced and then waived after he entered an alcohol education program. Then in August 2005, Zimmerman’s former fiance sought a restraining order against him because of domestic violence. Zimmerman sought a restraining order against her in return. Both were granted. Meanwhile, over the course of eight years, Zimmerman made at least 46 calls to the Sanford (Fla.) Police Department reporting suspicious activity involving black males.

  If you read my earier comments it will be blatantly obvious that I was being ironic. Of course I don't agree with that! My goodness I nearly got shot myself just then!! You follks are dangerous and trigger happy!

  Yes carrying a concealed gun, then going out at night stalking suspicious looking black dudes.. even after making the call to the police and BEING TOLD NOT TO CONTINUE FOLLOWING THE GUY. I go completely against police advice because I fancy myself as some sort of Charles Bronson character and am dying to get into a situation where I can test my pistol out so hell yes I'm going to follow and possibly provoke this guy..

  Apologies that some of us just can not ever agree with this. We are not from the land where the gun is worshipped. We are not all gun toting Americans here and even if in a situation where we are attacked it's still not justified in the countries where we live to not even own a gun.. let alone have one an use it to shoot dead any person for what ever reason.

  I was referring to the 'Stand Your Ground' defence. You just need to say that you feel your life was in imminent danger then you can just blow anyone's head off. Only in America of course. It definitely helps if the person you shot is African American with a poor school record and smokes the occasioanl blunt.

  Simon.. I am not for or against any of them. How can I be? How in all true honesty can anyone be? How can you even be? Not one of us was there and knows the full and real truth of this story. NOT ONE. So it goes that all we are reading here is peoples personal prejudices, hates, ignorance, racist views, fantasy and outright rubbish based upon more probable rubbish and untruth.

  I thought we had all decided to leave untruth behind. I guess not.

  Regarding the pyramids..

  It's one thing to thorise about it in a book and with chalk on a black board.. it's quite something else to go out there in the desert and do it. I favour the hands on practical approach over arm chair theorist any day of the week.
